Bridgewood Lodge Anniversary Party

Members of the public are invited to the party at Bridgewood Lodge, Margaret Street which is being held to mark the 50th anniversary of Anchor, which runs the property, combined with The Jo Cox Get Together celebrations on Friday 22 June from 2pm till 4pm.

The party will include a quiz, a game of bingo and play your cards right. 

Residents and staff will also be raising money for “Contact the Elderly” at the afternoon party with a raffle.

Janet Murray, Manager of Bridgewood Lodge, said: “We wanted to raise money for “Contact the Elderly” so decided to hold a party on this special occasion.

“We hope that members of the public will attend so they can help boost the amount of money we raise for this worthwhile charity.

“We’re proud to be associated with Anchor which Cecil Jackson-Cole set up in Oxford in 1968.”

Hundreds of parties are being held across the country to celebrate the anniversary of Anchor.
