A home care company who support local individuals is hosting a free Health Awareness Day at Springhill Hospice.

On Friday 3rd August, Heritage Healthcare Rochdale are inviting local people to join them at the hospice on Broad Lane to meet healthcare services, charities and professionals and find out what support is available in the community.

Heritage Healthcare Rochdale are leading providers of home care, helping those living in Rochdale, Bury and the surrounding areas to remain living independently and comfortably at home for longer. Trained Care Assistants are able to deliver bespoke and high quality care packages tailored around their wishes and requirements. The company wanted to allow the local community to have a chance to personally meet health professionals and discover what support is accessible in the area.

There are so many health services available for everyone living in Rochdale and the surrounding areas and not many people know about them.

The Health Awareness Day will see healthcare services hosting their own stalls and providing attendees with information to suit their health needs, including Healthwatch Rochdale and the Carers Hub. Heritage Healthcare Rochdale will start the afternoon with a presentation about themselves and how they can support people in their own home. Food and refreshments will be available during the day for everyone to feel comfortable when speaking with local services.

The afternoon will be hosted at Springhill Hospice, Broad Lane, Rochdale on Friday 3 August from 12.00pm until 3.00pm. Attendees can contact the care office for more information about the event on 01706 399222.
