Details:

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and annual staff awards ceremony on Wednesday 3 October 2018 in Stockport.

Key highlights will include choir performances, unveiling the Trust’s CARES Awards winners and a motivational speech by Dr Ed Coats.  Ed is a doctor who was chosen to join adventurers James Cracknell and Ben Fogle on their race to the South Pole.

This year the event will be split into two parts.  Part one will run from 3pm to 4pm.  It will include a review of key highlights and developments over the last year and a look ahead to the future; details of how the Trust is improving quality and a short update on the Trust’s finances.

The Trust’s Council of Governors will update on their work over the last year and there will be a chance to pose questions to the Board of Directors.

Part two will run from 4.15pm to 6.30pm.  The event will begin with an opportunity to enjoy a buffet and browse a showcase of service successes.  The main event will begin at 5pm with a performance by the Manchester Survivors’ Choir.

Following a short welcome, Dr Ed Coats will share his motivational thoughts and experiences before announcing the winners of the Trust’s CARES Awards.  A short film will highlight the achievements of all shortlisted teams.

The evening will close with a performance from the Pennine Care Choir, which celebrates its fifth birthday next month (October).

The event is being held at Stockport County Football Club, Hardcastle Road, Stockport, SK3 9DD.

Members of the public, staff, Trust governors and members and partners are all welcome.  They should confirm attendance by emailing ftmembership.penninecare@nhs.net
