IMPACT: Reaching Out will take place on Wednesday 13th March at the Rochdale Town Hall.

It is a conference for arts organisations/practitioners, health professionals and the education sector to explore the impact of the arts on mental health.

This year's conference is focussed on engagement with speakers and workshops demonstrating how creativity can support meaningful engagement within mental health.

Covering a range of engaging projects and insights on arts and health our speakers include:

  • Clive Parkinson, Director of Arts for Health at MMU
  • Early Help & Schools department from Rochdale Council
  • START Inspiring Minds in Salford
  • Arc (Arts for Recovery in the Community) in Stockport
  • Made by Mortals

Inspiring workshops focusing on creative engagement by:

  • Art for Wellbeing team at Cartwheel Arts
  • Headspace Bolton
  • Fallen Angels

Also throughout the day: information stalls, game demos, Q&A sessions, film screenings and an exhibition of local art work.
