Details:

Rochdale will face Hyde United in a pre-season friendly this summer. The game will take place on Tuesday 30th July at Ewen Fields, 7.45pm KO.

The match is being played in tribute to Mark Worthington, who sadly passed away in April.

Mark, who was the Tigers’ Chief Executive, was a friend of Rochdale Football Club and had worked in partnership with our Academy for many years, helping Tony Ellis set-up our Elite Development Squads and had continued to assist with the running of those. He was also driving force for youth football and education within the Academy environment at Hyde United and the link with Rochdale is one he'd forged to great effect over recent years. Mark’s family and close friends will be in attendance on the evening.

Admission prices are as follows:

Adults - £5 Concessions - £3 Under 16s - £2

Dale fans can pay on the night.

It’s the fourth pre-season friendly to be confirmed ahead of the start of the 2019/20 campaign.
