H.M.S. PINAFORE by Gilbert & Sullivan.

Rochdale Phoenix Opera Society perform Gilbert & Sullivan every other year, together with Grand Opera and Light Opera, and also present the occasional concert.

The Society intend to stage Gilbert & Sullivan’s H.M.S. Pinafore at the Curtain Theatre from the 26 to 29 February 2020. As normal, it will be fully costumed and with a professional orchestra and Musical Director.

Rehearsals continue to be at Spotland Methodist Church, OL12 7DQ, starting Wednesday 4th September at 7.30 p.m. prompt. Anyone interested in either chorus or a specific part is invited to come along and join in this light-hearted opera.

Auditions will be held shortly after the Annual General Meeting which is set for 18 September (provisionally 29th).

The Society is always pleased to welcome new members, both playing and non-playing.

Wednesday - Friday Evening Performances - 7.30pm

Saturday Matinee Only - 2.30pm
