24 August 2019

Saturday 24 August 2019
10am - 12noon

Saint Andrew Church, Dearnley
Arm Road
Littleborough

Details:

A Coffee Morning to raise funds for research into Macular Degeneration will be held at St Andrew's, Dearnley, Littleborough on Saturday 24 August from 10am to 12noon.

It's the biggest cause of sight loss across the world, affecting more people than cataracts and glaucoma combined.

Jean Townsend, a member of St Andrew's congregation and herself a sufferer, has organised the event despite limited vision.

The day will include tombola, a cake stall, and bric-a-bac.

Jean said: "Funds for research into Macular Degeneration are limited so we're doing our little bit to help. All are welcome at the event -- you don't have to have a connection with Church."

For more information, contact St Andrew's Vicar, Reverend Rachel Battershell on 01706 378466 or 07748 113 121.
