'Let's Hear It For The Wee Man' - Musical Concert in aid of the Mayor's Charity Appeal

Taking place on Remembrance Sunday, a musical concert will be hosted in aid of the Mayor of Rochdale's charity appeal.

Telling the true story of Northern Ireland's only recipient of the Victoria Cross, James Magennis.

A story of poetry, adventure and bravery tinged with sadness.

Words and music by Jimmy Cricket, featuring actor Charles Lawson, actress and singer Sue Devaney, actor Nick Newbould and comedian Jimmy Cricket himself.

This year, the Mayor of Rochdale, Councillor Billy Sheerin, is raising funds for: Springhill Hospice, M6 Theatre, Hydro Pool, Parkinson's UK, Leukaemia UK, Shopmobility and other local charities and groups.
