Alas, British Science Week's Rochdale Science Extravaganza event is roaring back!!!

Thanks to the British Science Association, Rochdale Borough Council and Wardleworth Community Centre's Learning Club, for the first time ever Rochdale Science Initiative C.I.C's Science Extravaganza will be hosted at Castlemere Community Centre.

In conjunction with British Science Week, come and join Rochdale Science Initiative C.I.C on Sunday 15th March 2020 to celebrate the wondrous diversity found in the world of science. It'll be a day to have fun and be inquisitive with science professionals such as; Zoologist, Paleontologist, Geologist, Physicist, and our own science enthusiasts.

For the first time ever we have Paris Bubbles - Guinness World Record holding soap bubble artist performing a breathtaking and interactive science show.

Everyone's favourite Zoo2 U will be returning with their exotic animals and education officers for Dippy On Tour Rochdale will be present to inspire the next generation of Paleontologists.

Institute of Physics northwest regional manager will offer activities that deals with force, energy, and mass.

Our very own homegrown talents; Hasina Begum (The University of Sheffield), Tom Hemmings (BRGS 6th Form), Wasibur Rahman (Rochdale 6th Form) and Zeerak (University of Leeds) will be demonstrating an array of experiments.

Rochdale Science Initiative's volunteers will run a gadget stall and crafts.

Living Wells health trainers will be at hand to advise on all the help available in Rochdale for a healthier lifestyle
