Details:
The aim of this group is to bring together refugees and asylum seekers to share their experiences. The asylum process is complex and often leaves those going through it feeling disempowered and isolated. The group will be a supportive, confidential and safe environment for individuals. There will be ample opportunity for individuals to share their stories and to explore the challenges and difficulties they have faced, with a focus on positivity and empowerment and meeting new people.
Information about local services will be provided.
All members will be supported to access relevant services.
The group will meet on the first Wednesday of each month at the Rochdale Mind Wellbeing Centre.
