Details:

Wardle Scarecrow Festival is back in 2020 and we are making a weekend of it!

The aim is to bring the community, families, community groups, businesses, neighbours and friends together, and have lots of fun in the process! You can even team up with neighbors and friends and all make a scarecrow together!

Once all entries are in we will create a map of where all the Scarecrows are located, and the idea is you all have a walk around the Village, and see if you can spot the Scarecrows. Maybe stopping off at The Globe, Charlies Coffee & Cakes, or the Hare and Hounds for a drink or bite to eat along the way, and make a day of it.

Pick your map up from Craft Cottage and set of on an adventure around the Village to find all the scarecrows - all day Saturday and Sunday (10 and 11 October).

Its all for fun, there will be a small prize for the winning Scarecrow, and you will be able to vote for your favorite on Facebook. We will upload an album on the Saturday of all Scarecrows, and the one with the most likes wins!

If you live in Wardle and want to enter your own scarecrow (before the 5th October) please visit the website on the link below and click 'Enter a Scarecrow'.

Entry fee: Free
