Details:

Don't miss out! In conjunction with Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Rochdale Science Initiative in partnership with BACP (Bangladesh Association & Community Project) have planned a family fun day. The day promises to be jam packed with fun-filled science based challenges, live experiments, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and getting up close to live exotic animals.

What to expect:

  • Inspirational speeches by the youths; RSI's founding ambassador Labib will be sharing his lived experience on bullying. Sahail, Zara, Sumayyah and Sohanah will share their passion for science and what a community means to them.
  • Everyone's favourite Emma's Crazy Creatures will be returning with all the exotic animals.
  • Opportunities to engage with STEM (Science Technology Engineering Maths) ambassadors; Zeerak - Geophysics, Saud - Mechatronic Engineering, Zeeshan - Civil Engineering and Researcher, Hasina Begum.
  • Meet our Youth science buskers, they'll be demonstrating, explaining the science and challenging others to try it out.
  • Bouncy castles as standard.

Keep your energy levels topped-up with an array of tasty treats from our food and dessert stalls.

We can't wait to see you!

The event is free to attend. Further details including the full programme for the day will be available on both the Rochdale Science Initiative's Facebook page, and BACP's Facebook page.
