Blue Rose celebrates Queen's birthday

Blue Rose Gifts & Balloons hosted an open day on Sunday 12 June to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday.
Mayor Ray Dutton attended along with Heywood and Middleton MP Liz McInnes, Heywood councillors Peter Rush, Peter Malcolm, Jacqui Beswick, Alan McCarthy and Chris Furlong.
Also in attendance were representatives the Lancashire Veterans Association and Heywood Rotary Club and the local community.
Blue Rose Gifts & Balloons Owner Beverley Heyworth commented: “Despite the weather, a most enjoyable day was had by all. It was great to see so many people come together to celebrate Her Majesty's birthday.
“I would like to thank the Mayor, our MP, local councillors and everyone involved in making the day so special.”
