Steve Jordan, a site manager at The Vistas in Heywood, has earned official recognition for his outstanding site management skills with a Pride in the Job Quality Award.

The Pride in the Job Quality Awards are the most coveted in the housebuilding industry. They are awarded by the construction sector’s professional body, the National House-Building Council (NHBC), which carries out a series of spot check site inspections to select the best-organised and best-quality housing developments.

Almost 15,000 site managers through the UK were judged on every aspect of their job, including technical skill, quality workmanship, customer service and site safety.

John McNulty, Barratt Manchester Construction Director, said: “To be officially recognised for the outstanding job which our winning site managers carrying out on a daily purpose, further strengthens our reputation for building some of the best quality homes in the country.

“The site manager plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality new homes which is why we are so delighted with these national awards. This is truly an outstanding result and one which should inspire great confidence in our buyers.”
