GJD has won a place at the Innovate 2016 exhibition, which showcases the most cutting edge innovations from businesses across the country in November.
GJD was one of 100 companies nationwide to be selected to showcase its innovation to over 2,500 attendees at Innovate 2016 on 2 and 3 November in Manchester.
GJD will be showcasing ground-breaking external motion detectors designed to tackle false alarms, which is one of the major challenges in the security industry.
The positive impact to the security industry from GJD’s reliable zero-false-alarm detectors is unprecedented. Some of the key benefits include reduced hours and resource costs spent analysing and attending to false alarm reports.
Mark Tibbenham, GJD’s Managing Director commented: “We are extremely proud to be recognised as one of the top 100 innovators in the UK. As one of the leading security designers and manufacturers of professional external detector equipment, as well as Infra-Red and White-Light LED Illuminators, our key focus is to utilise the latest technology and implementing state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques to ensure our products are world class”.
Innovate UK Chief Executive Ruth McKernan said: “Innovate 2016 will be an excellent opportunity for GJD to showcase their cutting edge innovation to a national and international audience. I congratulate GJD on their success in winning a place and look forward to their involvement in our annual flagship show of innovation excellence across the UK.”
Innovate 2016 is the UK’s largest multi-sector innovation event and is organised by Innovate UK and the Department for International Trade. It is set up to create opportunities for export and investment for the UK’s most innovative companies.
