The Flower and the Glory accepted into the Good Florist Guide

Date published: 10 October 2016

Littleborough florist The Flower and the Glory has been accepted into the Good Florist Guide (GFG), the gold standard of floristry.

Owner Carole Stirzaker said she is delighted to have this recognition exactly five years after opening the business.

To be part of GFG, each florist undergoes a rigorous evaluation process before being approved.

The Flower and the Glory submitted a detailed description of its floristry business, including range available and services offered as well as images of their business premises, their design work, team and delivery vehicle. The submission was vetted by a panel of industry experts to ensure it met the strict criteria of offering gorgeous designs, and the best service and value for bespoke floristry and flowers.

Ms Stirzaker said: ‘We are delighted to be accepted into the Good Florist Guide.

"We are passionate about flowers, design, quality and the service we give to each of our customers so it is wonderful to have this recognised, and it’s also our way of thanking our many loyal customers who have given us such support and fabulous testimonials.

"What’s special about our business is that we focus on first class customer service and go the extra mile to ensure our customer's satisfaction."

Caroline Marshall-Foster, editor The Florist magazine and Executive Director of Good Florist Guide said: “You can buy flowers virtually anywhere these days, but nothing really beats the experience of receiving fabulous flowers from a truly bespoke florist and without it costing an arm or a leg.

"The Good Florist Guide is my way of sharing all that is good about floristry. It allows consumers to know that the florist they use is able and willing to go the extra mile and make all their purchases, big or small, truly special.”
