Rochdale's The Range impresses founder with festive displays

Date published: 07 November 2019

The festive in-store Christmas display at The Range at Kingsway Retail Park has been shortlisted as the best Range store in the north west by company founder Chris Dawson.

Following a recent visit to the Rochdale store, Mr Dawson was so impressed with the displays that he shortlisted the local branch as the north west’s number one.

Mr Dawson regularly travels around the UK and Ireland visiting the 176 branches of The Range, especially in the run-up to Christmas to make sure that stores are all working to the same standards.

He said: “The store has put a huge amount of effort into making their Christmas displays look fantastic this year. It is brilliant to see how many different products they have been able to use to show just how vast our festive product selection is.”

Store Manager Andy was delighted to hear Chris’ comments and added: “We’re very proud to have our efforts recognised by the owner of the company.

“Hopefully the many Christmas displays around the store will help to inspire our customers to create their own Christmas grottos and bring a bit of festive magic to their home.”

The Range started life as a market stall trading across the South West of England, whilst the first store opened in 1989 under the name CDS (Chris Dawson Superstores).
