Gleeson Homes’ office moves to new larger premises in Rochdale

Date published: 01 October 2021

Developer Gleeson Homes has moved its Greater Manchester office to larger premises in Rochdale.

Located on Buckley Road, the requirement for an office move comes after a period of ‘substantial growth’ for the Greater Manchester region, which meant Gleeson needed to almost double its office space.

With a total of 20 office employees dedicated to Gleeson’s Greater Manchester region, employee head count has grown by nearly 50% over the last 24 months, and four new apprentices have been hired.

Arron Passarelli, North West Divisional Managing Director at Gleeson, said: “I am delighted to see our region expand and grow as we settle into our new office.

“We have several thriving developments for local people; namely Balderstones, Hilltop Park and Conrad Court in Rochdale so it’s the ideal location for our office.

“Despite the pandemic, our region has prospered, as we build homes for those who need them the most, with two thirds of our customers’ being key workers, those who keep us safe, fed and healthy.

“86% of our customers are first time buyers, with the majority under the age of 35, meaning our homes are perfectly placed to help ensure young people have the housing they need and deserve.”

Gleeson plans include to expand into other North West areas such as Blackpool, Fylde Coast, Craven, Oldham and Lancaster, with discussions currently taking place.
