Busy Beans Coffee celebrates second anniversary with Good Food award

Date published: 02 November 2021

Independent coffee house Busy Beans Coffee is celebrating its second anniversary with a Good Food award.

The Littleborough business, run by husband and wife team Becky and Danny O’Neill, is the only local eatery to win a 2022 Good Food Blue Ribbon for Delicious Dishes this year after being voted for by members of the public.

The award winning coffee house is one of 64 winners of the coveted award in the café, bistro, sandwich shop, coffee house and tea room category.

Becky said: “Thank you so much to all our customers who voted for us; it was so sweet of you all and great to see everyone voting in house using the QR codes.

“We’re very excited and we’ll definitely enter again next year.”

Busy Beans originated as a mobile coffee bar frequenting major events in the borough, before the O’Neills branched out into their first bricks and mortar coffee house on Victoria Street in 2019.

Whilst their coffee has previously won a Great Taste award, the Good Food award is their first accolade for the business, much to their delight.

In addition to coffee, Busy Beans also serves shakes, hot chocolate, plus homemade cakes, bakes and brownies. You can also hire their mobile coffee cabin to cater for corporate events, onset/location filming, private celebrations and more.

The Good Food Awards recognise the hard-working teams who strive for excellence within their field. Chosen for their food quality, service and value, the prestigious awards are bestowed upon those with high customer ratings/votes and are known as the Blue Ribbon for Delicious Dishes.
