Date published: 13 September 2022

A Rochdale property development business has recently submitted a planning application for their new office headquarters on Spotland Road.

Hallmark Developments is currently based at 132 Manchester Road, Rochdale, where the company has been located since 2003.

The new office location is directly adjacent to the former derelict Dexine Rubber Works which Hallmark recently developed into the Coldwall industrial estate.

The Coldwall estate consists of 22 industrial units which have been let and retained by Hallmark as an investment. Development started in November 2020 and was recently completed at a cost of £7.25 million.

The blueprint concept for Hallmark’s new HQ was designed by local architect James Kelly and careful consideration was given due to the location being within a conservation area.

Mr Grieves, managing director of Hallmark. said new offices are required “due to the growth of the company and the appointment of new surveyors and staff joining the firm.”

Subject to planning approval, Hallmark hopes to commence construction work in November 2022 with completion in summer 2023.
