GJD is using the Intersec Dubai platform to launch its new LX LoRa Connect, a long-range wireless security system
Heywood intruder detection company GJD is gearing up to unveil its latest innovations at Intersec Dubai 2024.
Intersec Dubai will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 16-18 January, a crucial event for security installers, custom integrators and specifiers who are in search of the most up-to-date industry insights and latest innovations.
GJD will be exhibiting its new LX LoRa Connect system, which has been designed specifically for security installers. By leveraging LoRa technology, GJD says this new wireless integration system “offers unparalleled flexibility, reliability, and ease of integration.”
One of the major key features is that it connects sensors, illuminators and alarm sounders over a range up to 10 kilometres, and can even transmit signals through buildings and other obstacles.
It can also connect and support up to 500 devices, without the need for expensive data cables and expanders.
Dr Rod Wilson, group chief technology officer, said: "With the LX LoRa Connect, GJD is empowering installers with unprecedented capabilities.
“This new wireless system is a testament to our commitment to providing solutions that not only meet but exceed the expectations of security professionals."
In addition to the LX LoRa Connect, GJD will also be exhibiting its IP product range, precision laser sensors, external IP detectors, quad PIR detectors, anti-masking technology, and illuminators (infra-red, white-light, IP, and hybrid versions). It says these products have “a proven track record of enhancing CCTV system performance and minimising unwanted alarms.”
GJD’s experienced security experts will also host live product demonstrations, providing visitors with a deeper understanding of its products, including enhancing video analytics, reducing unwanted/nuisance alarms, and overcoming real intruder challenges.
James M. Viscardi, executive vice president, global sales, said: "Intersec Dubai provides GJD with a unique opportunity to connect directly with installers.
“We are eager to share our expertise, showcase our latest product innovations, and collaborate with installers on addressing the evolving needs of the security industry."
Founded in 1983, GJD's perimeter protection solutions are trusted by security installers across the world, with the business positioned as a ‘go-to’ for securing residential properties and critical infrastructure alike.
Now part of the Ava Risk Group, GJD will display at Intersec Dubai 2024 alongside sister companies Future Fibre Technologies (FFT) and BQT Solutions.
