Riverdale Insurance opens in Rochdale town centre

Date published: 07 February 2015

Riverdale Insurance has relocated to the old post office building on The Esplanade in Rochdale town centre.

Founded by Asif Khan, the independent insurance broker offers a wide range of specialist insurance cover for property owners, commercial business, and charities. Riverdale is the UK’s leading mosque insurance broker, providing cover for over 300 mosques.

Asif Khan said he was happy to locate in a “great part of town” and had been made to feel very welcome.

“We’re here to support local business as a broker in the town centre,” he said. “We believe there’s a gap in the market for a local broker who knows the town well. It’s important to have someone on your doorstep where you can easily access professional advice.”

Rochdale MP Simon Danczuk attended the opening and said: “It’s always pleasing to welcome smart new businesses to our town that are looking to grow fast.

“Asif is a young entrepreneur and I’m delighted that he’s decided to locate his business here. It’s yet another vote of confidence in the town centre.”
