Gareth Mayers, Health, Safety & Environment Advisor for Emanuel Whittaker
Gareth Mayers has joined construction and regeneration specialist Emanuel Whittaker as Health, Safety & Environment Advisor.
Gareth, 26, who lives in Rochdale joins the company from Novus Property Solutions. He has worked in the social housing and construction industry for over 10 years across a variety of health and safety disciplines including large scale construction projects and major refurbishment programmes.
Managing Director of Emanuel Whittaker, Clive Newton, said: “Emanuel Whittaker has an enviable position in this field and we take our health and safety responsibilities very seriously. Gareth’s appointment strengthens our existing team and will ensure we remain compliant within what can be a daunting area of legislation for many companies.”
Emanuel Whittaker clients are based across the North West and include City West Housing Trust, First Choice Homes Oldham, Rochdale Boroughwide Housing, Salix Homes, Symphony Housing Group, Together Housing Group and Your Housing.
Commenting on his appointment Gareth said: “I am looking forward to maintaining Emanuel Whittaker’s exemplar health and safety record and ensuring compliance both at head office and across the companies numerous sites where we are responsible for the safety of staff, visitors and sub contractors.”
