Mark Foxley: There has never been a better time to start or move your business to Rochdale Town Centre
Rochdale is the top North West town to benefit from reduced business rateable values (RV) with a reduction of -40.20%. The new RVs will be introduced on 1 April 2017.
Mark Foxley, of Rochdale Town Centre Management said: “It’s great news that Rochdale is revealed as one of the North West winners when the new rateable values are introduced on 1 April 2017, The Council's current business rates reduction scheme gives qualifying businesses 80% reduction in year one and 50% reduction in year two, meaning anyone starting or moving their business to Rochdale Town Centre now could see only a nominal increase at the end of year two as the new RVs are introduced”
“New businesses are opening almost every month and with the first three hours free car parking in council owned car parks and the revealing of the medieval bridge/River Roch, confidence is growing in Rochdale Town Centre.
"New businesses can also benefit from great partnership working and support from the Rochdale Town Centre Management team, offering a range of support services including discounts, sales, marketing, promotion, crime reduction, radio link, access to training and networking events, regular communications and keeping at the forefront of Town Centre news.
