NBS help the homeless this Christmas

Date published: 23 December 2015

North Business Solutions Ltd (NBS) in Rochdale are an office supplies company who wanted to raise awareness, and help in some way, the homeless people of Manchester.

Instead of sending Christmas cards to our loyal customers and suppliers this year we have donated the money to this cause.

Over the last few weeks we have been collecting homeless donations through our “Mission Christmas appeal”.

We launched the mission where along with donating hundreds of items ourselves, every time a customer placed an order, we also donated money to enable us to purchase as many essential items as possible.

NBS and their customers collected warm clothing, food, hygiene products, ladies sanitary items and blankets which amounted to many bags and boxes being delivered to where they are needed most!

We made the trip on Sunday 20 December to deliver all these goods to the former Manchester Stock Exchange where many local people are seeking warmth and a dry room.

North Business Solutions wanted to raise as much awareness as possible for the homeless.

When we met with some of the homeless people, we chatted to one inspirational man, Wesley Dove, who has dedicated to raise as much publicity as he can, helping to change the way of life for those struggling people in need.

I would personally like to thank all the staff at NBS and all our customers for their support in making this a successful mission.

Christmas is a terrible time to be out on the street and hopefully we have made some kind of difference.

We will continue to support the homeless throughout 2016, follow us on Facebook or LinkedIn to see our latest updates.
