To celebrate Buckley Menswear’s first anniversary of bringing high-quality menswear to Rochdale, selected products will be on offer throughout each week of November.
Located on South Parade in one of the most iconic buildings in town, Buckley Menswear boasts two floors filled with quality and classic menswear.
Having worked at the esteemed Denis Hope for over 20 years, Philip Buckley opened the eponymous store in November 2018.
One of this year’s Rochdale 30, Buckley Menswear’s ground floor features casual collections for everyday wear, with everything from jeans and t-shirts to coats and shoes.
The formal tailoring department is located downstairs, featuring a comprehensive selection of suits and jackets, formal trousers for all occasions and a great selection of specialist shoes.
Mr Buckley said: “It has been a great but emotional first year of trading. The shop itself has had a brilliant response: not only have we been nice and busy for the first 12 months, but we received national recognition when Buckley was shortlisted for a Draper award – a real feather in our cap!
“We did have an emotional time earlier this year with the drama of our lower floor flooding twice.
“Fortunately, no real damage was done: we rolled our sleeves up and soldiered on, but it was stressful.”
Mr Buckley added: “It’s going to be a busy year in town with the new Riverside development opening next year, and we should all profit from the extra footfall that will bring.
“We have some fantastic menswear instore and look forward to unveiling our new labels in the new year.”
Buckley’s is conveniently located just seconds away from the Town Hall Square, where you can park for three hours free each day.
Buckleys, a quality name for quality clothing - open Monday – Saturday 9am to 5.30pm.
Buckleys will also be open on three Sundays in December – 15, 22 and 29.
