Local outfit CPS Mobility Scooters offers outstanding service and performance

Date published: 15 April 2024

A long-established mobility scooter business serving the Rochdale, Oldham and Shaw areas continues to pride itself on offering the best service and advice, just when people might need it most.

Under the guidance of business owner Dave Pennington Shaw, Smithybridge-based CPS Mobility Ltd has been in business for long enough to know and to care, and to offer the best possible service and products that are out there in the marketplace.

In particular, the The Pride® Travel Mobility range features unique scooters that offer outstanding performance, manoeuvrability and can be easily disassembled so that they can fit into most vehicles.

The same can be said of the popular Motion Healthcare scooter range.

Motion Healthcare are leaders in design, manufacture and distribution of mobility products, which all come with a five-year warranty.

CPS Mobility is based in Smithy Bridge

Dave, who boasts three decades’ experience in the mobility business, said: "I have been working in this market place since 1994 and I have always tried to do everything possible to help my customers find the best products to help with their independence and mobility needs.

"In my opinion it’s highly important to make sure my customers feel secure and comfortable with both the product and the service.

"At CPS Mobility, we are a family company and run purely by myself and my wife, and my father in law does our engineering work.

"We offer a free home demonstration so people can try our mobility scooters in the comfort of their own surroundings and it’s always our preference for the customers to have a relative or friend present if possible."

Why not make an appointment or arrange a home visit? It’s easy to do - simply call Dave on 07506 859597 and either he or his wife Tracy will answer your call.

Scooters are looked after by vastly experienced engineer Duncan - Dave’s father-in-law.

"We have found that customers need to choose the best scooter for their needs," added Dave.

“You can take time in the comfort of your own home or at our comfortable showroom, to look at the specifications, prices, and warranties available.

"We never push our customers to buy as we would rather know you are happy with your purchase and that it suits your needs and lifestyle.

“What we at CPS Mobility have done over the years is to test and try out many of the transportable foldaway scooters on your behalf, and we have subsequently selected the models we believe are the most reliable, easily transportable and, of course, offer the best value for money.

“We are a family company with no high pressure sales people.

“We are here to simply find our customers the best options for their needs and to make sure they are completely happy with their purchase.

“We believe we offer the best service both before and after you buy a scooter.”
