Try out courses at the Hopwood Hall College Open Evening

Hopwood Hall College is inviting all prospective students to an open evening at both their Middleton and Rochdale campuses on Wednesday 18 November.

Taking place between 4pm – 7pm, there will be the opportunity to have a go at some of the courses and apply on the night, speak to tutors and have a tour of the facilities. Specific activities will include:

  • 5.00pm – Owl feeding
  • 5.30pm – Fish feeding and aquatics demonstration 
  • 6.00pm – Rabbit health checks
  • Forensic science DNA profiling 
  • Tour of outdoor animal area 
  • Rebuilding computers in the IT labs and tour of server rooms
  • Tour of the virtual early years nursery
  • Cookery demonstrations in boiled sugar, chocolate and flambe crepe suzette plus make your own sorbet

The open evening is an ideal time for year 11 learners to come and visit as the priority deadline for full-time college applications is 4 December 2015. Details will also be available on Access and Higher Education courses starting in September 2016, and apprenticeships too.
