Norden Environmental and Economic Village Association produce calendar

Date published: 16 November 2017

Norden Environmental and Economic Village Association (NEEVA) has produced a calendar featureing local pictures of days past, supplied by Remembering Cutgate, Rochdale Local History Department, and past Norden residents, with recent photographs shot by Graham Sivills of Norden Studio.

Images include historical and modern landmarks such as the war memorial, Nutters’ Restaurant, St Paul’s Church and Jubilee Park, which recently won two awards at the Royal Horticultural Society’s North West In Bloom competition.

Each month also comes with information about the notable village image, provided by Val Corns of Norden Local History Society.

The calendar is now on sale in most shops throughout Norden and all profit goes back into the village.
