Date published: 10 July 2018

Rochdale Rotary Club had a handover ceremony at The Masonic Buildings Richard Street on Thursday 5 July when Rotarian Keith Banks began his year in office.

Immediate Past President Ann Stott wished Keith a good year and thanked Rotary Members for their support.

President Keith said: "I'm looking forward to another successful year raising funds and supporting my preferred Charities the Alzheimer’s Society and Medic Malawi.

“I also feel we should reach out more into the Rochdale community and help with hands on support as we are doing at the Petrus Community Store and Rochdale Foodbank.

“The club has recently had three new members and I look forward to more joining us in my year.

“Our first big event will be the 2nd Annual Rochdale Classic Car and Motorcycle show at Littleborough Sports Club on Sunday the 15 July and good weather is forecast."
