Heywood Rotary Club presents £300 cheque to Ken Horan

Heywood Rotary Club have presented Ken Horan with a cheque for £314 after his annual 80 mile walk for charity.
Ken and friend Paul Mullen recently completed an 80-mile sponsored walk for the charity, and were joined on the way by Rotarians Peter Gilmartin, Toni Fletcher and Edwin Partridge.
President Mike Goldrick presented the cheque on behalf of the Rotary Club of Heywood last week.
Ken tries to complete at least one charity walk per year in aid of Parkinson’s to Heywood Cricket Club, having previously walked from Derby and Nottingham.
