Arts Award ‘Videography’ Promotional Workshop
Date published: 25 January 2016
Well done to all the Falinge Park High School staff and students who joined us for our special Arts Award ‘Videography’ Promotional Workshop last Friday when students from across the years got to try industry standard film and sound equipment.
Students and primary staff watched a short video about the use of lighting when filming and then took part in a hands on session on different types of camera equipment.
Students also took on a range of roles in a filming team, using crane microphones and different types of cameras and dollies.
Thanks to Mr Mvula, Mr Dalby, Mr Lawlor and Mr Lancaster for leading the session and to the students who joined us for the workshop.
Many thanks to the primary staff who came along too.
As a result, several students are now developing their Arts Award Portfolios in further videography work.
