Preparing For Adulthood: Independent Travel Programme

It is always a pleasure to see so many of our youngsters from Year 10, 11 and Post 16 who participate in the Independent Travel Programme. The support from parents and carers is invaluable for the success of the programme which is planned in great detail to meet the needs of each individual student. The level of attention to ensure each journey is planned with the correct level of support is the responsibility of Lynda and Sam, our Independent Travel Facilitators – it really is a crucial aspect of `Preparing our Youngsters for Adulthood’ and gaining life skills and confidence in carrying out a planned journey from home to school or work placement!
