Police launch an operation in Mandale Park targeting off road bikes causing nuisance to local residents and park users.

Saturday 18 June
GMP Heywood and Middleton warn shoppers to be aware after have had two incidents reported regarding purses being taken out of handbags on Market Street in Heywood Town Centre.

GMP Heywood and Middleton say there has been 11 house burglaries reported in the Middleton area in the last couple of weeks. Thieves have entered through open or unlocked windows. Officers warn to close and lock windows overnight and when the house is empty.

Friday 17 June
GMP appears on Crimewatch Roadshow to talk about Legal Highs after a spate of issue in the Rochdale area.

A man who kept a hoard of illegal firearms at his Rochdale cannabis farm has been jailed. Christopher Bryson (30/10/1987) of Chatsworth Street, pleaded guilty to production of cannabis and possession of several firearms at Minshull Street Crown Court on 6 June 2016.
