Luca, Ellie and Nicole enjoy a VIP visit to Finding Dory at Sea Life

Date published: 19 July 2016

Luca, Ellie and Nicole, along with dad, Paul Turner-Mitchell, enjoyed a VIP visit to the new Disney Pixar Finding Dory event at Sea Life Manchester.

They were given exclusive entry into Sea Life Manchester before it opened to the public.

Mr Turner-Mitchell said: “The children love Finding Nemo the film and couldn’t wait to see Finding Dory so the real highlight and excitement of the day came when we found Nemo and Dory. Their little faces just lit up.

“With over 5,000 creatures from sharks to sea horses and interactive displays there was just so much to see and do.

“Ellie really enjoyed the handling pool where she got to stroke crabs and starfish whilst Luca thoroughly enjoyed his well-earned break half away around the attraction in the indoor play centre.

“The final words came from Nicole who described the visit as 'brilliant' and when asked what was the best part of the day she simply said 'all of it'.”

The family were led on an interactive trail by one of the new Disney Pixar movie’s star sea creatures, Hank (voice of Ed O’Neill), a cantankerous octopus and enjoyed watching a teaser trailer of the film before it launches in cinemas on Friday 29 July.

Disney Pixar’s Finding Dory tells the story of Dory’s quest to find her own family, with the help of Nemo and Marlin and new characters like Hank that she meets at a Californian marine rehabilitation centre and aquarium.

Mr Turner-Mitchell added:: “We went to visit Legoland afterwards too.

“The children enjoyed all the activities and the 4D films.

“I would certainly recommend combining both together as it makes for an actioned packed family fun day.”
