Rainbows End Nursery in Middleton
Rainbows End Nursery in Middleton suddenly shut on Tuesday (19 July) with no warning and no explanation.
Ofsted has since confirmed that an investigation is under way over “safeguarding concerns” at the nursery, prompting the suspension of the business’ registration until more information is gathered.
Rochdale Online was told that parents have been informed and that nursery staff have been informed by the owner.
The nursery will be closed until further notice.
An Ofsted spokesperson said: “Ofsted has suspended the registration of this provider due to an ongoing investigation about the way safeguarding concerns are dealt with.”
