Jungle Explorers walk on the wild side at the Wheatsheaf
Date published: 30 July 2016
The Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre was transformed into a jungle zone on Saturday afternoon (30 July) for a Tarzan-themed kids’ adventure.
Children from across the borough came along to make colourful masks of all the animals in the jungle.
The Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre hosted the free jungle themed event to tie in with the launch of the highly anticipated blockbuster film, The Legend of Tarzan, which came out in national cinemas on Friday 8 July.
To celebrate, the shopping centre turned into a tropical jungle as a family of gorilla characters roamed around to meet and greet.
Young shoppers were also invited to join the free jungle craft garden to become a mini explorer or a jungle animal.
