REAG would like to see a ‘Welcome to Rochdale’ sign near the station
Members of the Rochdale Environmental Action Group (REAG) would like see a ‘Welcome to Rochdale’ sign near the railway station.
Ghulam Rasul Shahzad OBE, Secretary of REAG, said: “REAG would like to see a ‘Welcome to Rochdale - birthplace of Co-operative Movement’ sign just outside the Rochdale railway and tram station.
“This is now the gateway to Rochdale and thousand commuters travel to and from various places.
“Members of REAG have already discussed it with appropriate persons.”
