Helena Lees, Lindsey Rushworth, Shagufta Liaqat and Kiran Shams raised over £300 by completing the Memory Walk for the Alzheimer’s Society at Heaton Park, Manchester on Saturday (17 September).
The quartet, who all work at Dr Hamid’s Practice in Rochdale, took two and a half hours to complete the 10k walk.
Helena, 24, explained why they decided to participate: “There’s a number of patients at the surgery who suffer with the disease, so we see the struggle Alzheimer’s can cause on daily basis.
“Taking part and raising money was a great way to help the charity.”
