Anthony Young, 29/06/1989, from Rochdale, was sentenced to six years for robbery and possession of a bladed article on Thursday 29 September, at Minshull Street Crown Court.
Just after midnight on Monday 2 February 2015, the victim, who was working as a taxi driver, went to St Anne's Road, Rochdale, to collect a fare.
The victim was approached by Young, assaulted, threatened with a knife and forced to hand over his cash bag containing £100 pounds.
