Cedar Lane to get new road sign

Councillor Neil Butterworth at Cedar Lane, Newhey
The faded road sign at the top of Cedar Lane, Newhey is to be replaced after the intervention of local Labour councillor Neil Butterworth.
Councillor Butterworth has sought residents support in replacing old, damaged, missing and faded road naming signs.
He said: “On one of my regular walks around the village I noticed that the road naming sign at the top of Cedar Lane is badly faded, I am sure it is not serving its purpose very well, so I have asked officers to replace it as soon as possible.
“It would be really helpful to ensure that visitors to the villages are helped to find their way with visible, readable signs.
“If residents who notice any faded, damaged, or missing road naming signs could please email me neil.butterwoth@rochdale.gov.uk .”
