Alistair Campbell visit to Rochdale condemned by Rochdale Momentum

Rochdale Momentum has condemned the appearance of former Labour 'spin-doctor' Alastair Campbell at Rochdale Literature & Ideas Festival this weekend.
A spokesperson said: "Campbell, via his 'dodgy dossiers' on non-existent WMD, notoriously helped propagate a costly, divisive, illegal Iraq War, which killed and maimed 251,000 men, women and children.
"On Saturday evening, outside Riverside/Rochdale Council offices, Momentum members will be joining Rochdale & Littleborough Peace Group and CND in a vigil to remember the Iraq War deaths."
