Dog walker finds collapsed man on Cuckoo Hill

Emergency services attend a man who had collapsed on Cuckoo Hill
A man in his mid-30s has been taken to Fairfield General Hospital after local dog walker Andy Rees discovered him collapsed on Cuckoo Hill, above Littleborough on Tuesday (25 October) morning.
Mr Rees quickly called emergency services after finding the man. He said: “It was quite a shock.”
Greater Manchester Police, North West Ambulance and a mountain rescue team all attended the scene.
A spokesperson for North West Ambulance said: “We received a call at 10.01am that a man in his mid-30s had been found collapsed on the moors. He was taken to Fairfield General Hospital.”
