31-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murdering a woman

A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after police were called to Middle Hill, Rochdale, to reports that a woman had been stabbed.
Officers attended shortly before 11.30pm on Monday (28 November) and found a woman with serious neck injuries. She was taken to hospital where she died.
The man remains in police custody for questioning.
