The Oxford Christmas markets
Date published: 06 December 2016
On the 3/4 December The Oxford went festive and brought a bit of Christmas magic to Shawclough complete with stalls, Christmas trees for sale, a brass band and mulled wine.
The markets were Phil McNeeney's idea three years ago.
Tom McNeeney said: “This time we had a beer tent and different stalls on Saturday and Sunday, giving more traders the chance to sell and the customers more choice of Christmas gifts and goodies.
“Thank you so, so much to everyone who worked for us this weekend, to the fabulous stall holders who brightened the place up to no end and most importantly to the hundreds of people who came and supported us. We've had the most incredible weekend.”
