Nisar Ali charged with section 18 assault

Nisar Ali (24/10/1982), of Brideoak Street, Cheetham Hill, has been charged with section 18 assault, after a two-year-old girl from Rochdale was taken to hospital with serious head injuries.
He is due to appear before Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on Monday (16 January).
A 35-year-woman has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault and bailed until 16 March.
The ambulance service attended the incident on Daimler Street in Cheetham Hill and alerted police shortly after 7pm on Wednesday 11 January, after the two-year-old girl was taken to hospital with serious head injuries.
She remains in a critical condition in hospital.
