Man stabbed in car in Newhey

A man is in hospital in a stable condition after being stabbed in a car in Newhey.

Police were called shortly after 4.10pm on Friday (17 February) to Rivermead in Newhey to a report that a man had been stabbed.

A police spokesman said: "Officers attended and discovered that a man in his 30s had been stabbed in a car.

"He was taken to hospital where he is being treated for stab wounds to the leg, arm, and ear. His condition is stable.

"Four men fled the car towards Rivermead.

"An investigation has been launched and enquiries are ongoing."
