Junction Community Library in Middleton is thriving after an increased take-up of activities and events at the newly refurbished centre.
East Middleton Councillor Donna Martin, cabinet member for children’s services, recently led a campaign to breathe new life into the popular community hub.
The first ‘legs, bums and tums’ session exceeded expectations as over 25 local residents enjoying an evening of fitness and exercise.
Councillor Martin said: “The take-up for the events has been brilliant and it’s heartening to see the library going from strength to strength. It’s lovely to see so many people of all ages enjoying fitness and exercise in a fun and inspiring environment.”
Junction Community Library is located on Grimshaw Lane, M24 2BW.
