A man in his 40s crashed a mobility scooter through the window of the former Beales department store in the Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre on Wednesday afternoon.
A North-West Ambulance Rapid Response Unit attended the incident and the man was treated by paramedics at the scene.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue said: “One fire engine from Rochdale mobilised the incident after the man crashed through a disused shop window. He was assisted out of the shop by crews and checked by the paramedics.”
