Thrive hub being launched
Date published: 25 March 2017
Thrive
Thrive is a new service for young people and their parents/carers who are experiencing anxiety, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
A fun day in Rochdale on Saturday (25 March) launches their new hub, where children and young people can call in to discuss their worries and find informal support and they and their carers/parents can be signposted to services and given practical support.
A spokesperson said: "Two of the provisions being offered are our Care Farm and Pastures New Equine Assisted Learning, for children who are not engaging with mainstream education but thrive in an outdoor environment. Pastures New trustee Liz Hennel will be there to answer any questions. Please give them your support, it is a fantastic scheme to promote healthy young minds."
